Whilst working on a new netbook price comparison page for this site last night I noticed that two of the store feeds I import were showing the new rough tough Samsung NB30 as available for sale and in stock here in the UK.

The NB30 provides a tougher case, an anti-shock hard drive which offers some protection against falls, and improved water resistance (but you still wouldn’t want to take it swimming!).

The sites have little details about the NB30 specifications so I am not sure if this specific model will have the touch screen features (which interest me). I understand the touch version of the netbook is not standard but we’ll wait and see I guess. If anyone calls through to find out – let us know!
